I want to make my small corner of the world more beautiful, more interesting, and more thought-provoking. I have been creating art in a variety of forms for the majority of my life. My art education developed at Bell High School in AP Art courses and continued in art history and architecture courses in college. I have a BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M. I was introduced to real-world digital marketing, advertising, and graphic design during my time at Austin-based company TeleDynamics and through work with DoubleDave's Pizzaworks.

My favorite and most used medium is acrylic paint. However, I am always excited to discover and learn about new mediums. I have worked with soft and oil pastel, watercolors, colored pencils, embroidery thread/sewing, collage, felt, and within digital programs such as Photoshop.

Inspiration can come from pretty much anywhere! However, I am most strongly inspired by the natural world. Including real species of animals and plants in my work combines my love of nature and my love of art. My great uncle, Orville Rice, was a well-known naturalist whose artwork often graced the cover of the Texas Parks & Wildlife Magaz

Seeing his work, its beauty and attention to detail inspires my own work.
